Crystal Glass
Jeanne Koepp's vases are blown and therefore unique.
Each vase therefore has its own characteristics, the thickness of the glass is different and influences the color intensity.
This manufacturing process can result in minimal air and particle inclusions in the glass, which does not mean a reduction in quality, but is a sign of handmade products.

After designing the vase “TINE”©Jeanne Koepp 2023, I ordered a wood turner to make a wooden mold to reproduce the vase.
The first glassworks was established in Zwiesel as early as 1421, producing glass buttons and rosaries as well as bull's-eye panes. Today's Zwiesel Kristallglas AG was founded by Anton Müller in 1872 as Tafelglashütte Annathal. In 1961, the fully automated production of goblet glass was successful. In 1970, the first machine-blown lead crystal glass was added.
Nevertheless, the part of traditional glass production, the blowing into a wooden mold for identical reproduction, was also continued. I therefore decided to produce the “TINE” vase in Zwiesel.
